Of our 9 nights of traveling between Utah and Texas, your motel and The White Eagle Inn in Cortez, Colorado have been the cleanest. To me, this is more important than many of the amenities of the chain hotels.

Awesome place. They do not run them like this any more. Felt like home! I will be a regular here.
Room rates start as low as $34.50 plus tax.

Everybody at the Legends Inn were awesome! Machelle and Denise were some of the friendliest people we've ever met! Thank you to the town of Junction, the boys down at Lum's BBQ and Helen and the blonde gal down at Isaacks Restaurant - made us feel like friends. Ken B. was great to hunt with! Thanks a lot, Junction!

We have been staying in Junction for years and just recently noted the upgrades The Legends had made, so we decided to give them a try. They exceeded our Expectations! I appreciated them calling to confirm our stay and was quite pleased with the special efforts they made to accommodate our VERY LATE arrival. The room was CLEAN and it was a bonus to have a microwave, refrigerator and Direct TV for such an economical price. The flower beds they are putting in are just gorgeous. I'm SURE we will being staying there again in the future.

First time we came it was because of price. After that, because of everyones friendliness and considerations. I always recommend Legends Inn to anyone staying in the area and I will stay if I am anywhere near.

This is our second trip to Legends Inn this summer. Both times our room was the cleanest room I have been in in years. Thanks so much for your criteria for your guests. We appreciate your efforts!
King size rooms start as low as $36.50 plus tax.

The cleanest I have been in for quite some time. Excellent attention to detail. Most rooms I stay in are camouflaged with "extras" i.e. big televisions, big breakfast, etc. But, the rooms are not clean. This is the best room I have rented in two years of constant travel across Texas. Great job!!

Better - cleaner - than most big chains. Value-wise very good. We stay in motels in all 48 states.
Help spread the word.
These days, there are not many tourists on the road, but some people still need to travel, and most are trying to get more value for their money. By linking thelegendsinn.com to your websites and blogs, you can help others who may be looking for an Affordable Texas Hill Country Getaway. Thanks!

For a slower pace, other folks can just sit back and let it all go, and dangle their feet in cool water. Enjoy the tranquility of nature, watch the birds in the trees, and know the kids are all safe and playing.
Or just hang out with the kids on an inner tube. Go to the Museum, or the State Park, hike, picnic, play disc golf at the City Park, splurge on some comfort food, and have some fun together. Experience all the wholesome qualities of nature and enjoy your wonderful family. Or just do it all by yourself and let them take care of themselves for a while. But you might want to bring a friend. Ladies can enjoy beading and making jewelry in one of Junctions other friendly little businesses.
If you want more to do, Junction is a great hub location for short day trips around the Hill Country. Shop in Boerne, Comfort, or Fredericksburg, visit Caverns of Sonora, Garner State Park, James River Bat Cave, Devils Sinkhole in Rocksprings, Fort McKavett, Luchenbach, Lone Star Motorcycle Museum in Vanderpool, Kerrville art galleries, go dancing at London Hall, ride horses in Bandera, or visit other Hill Country attractions. A map is included that shows Junction and the surrounding area attractions.
If you have a motorcycle or bicycle, bring it, too. Lots of winding country roads and hilly loops to ride!
Plan an itinerary to suit your interests, and return to this little motel in Junction, take your shoes off, and just relax for a while. Breathe in some more fresh air and experience a quiet, comfortable night in the Texas Hill Country. The swimming pool opens in May. You can watch the kids play til 10:00 pm. WHERE do they get all their energy?
OWNERS AND STAFF:From left to right: Kevin, Ginger, Denise, Shana, LeAnne, Machele, Sissy, Tammy.
Ginger kind of watches over everything, or sleeps on the job, while owners, Kevin and Denise, work on landscaping or remodeling projects, manage day-to-day operations, and help take care of guests.
Kevin is a former law enforcement agent and Denise was raised in a motel and restaurant family. Both have an endless list of U.S. Veterans in their families, and know how important we all are. This couple is always looking for new ways to improve things, stand out from the crowd, and help guests feel welcome, safe, and comfortable. But, they do speak their minds. Regular customers know to respect Legends employees, other guests, and all Legends Inn property. Which is kept very clean and well-maintained.
When you check in, Kevin, Denise, or one of the desk clerks (Machelle or Nancy) will greet you, and answer any questions you might have. If you will be traveling with pets, or if there is something special you will need (i.e. coffee pot, extra pillows, a bed for the dog, etc.) please let staff know when you make your reservation. This allows plenty of time for the housekeepers (Tammy, Sissy, and Gaye) to prepare for your visit. They usually finish all of their work before 2 p.m.

Ginger really does think she owns the place. She is usually hanging around and loves to be fed and petted. However, we would rather you not offer her treats without asking. Even though she will probably beg you to. She is naturally a large built dog, but she does not need to get any lazier!
And, she is not supposed to be in the flower beds either.
